I have the system in my signature, but the CPU will be upgraded to a 5900X soon (I already have the new CPU, but unistalled). My monitor is 60Hz but I plan to get a 144Hz (or more) soon. I want to upgrade my GTX 1060 6GB so I'll be able to play future Sims-like games, and perhaps other games that I don't know about yet.

Edit: 1440p monitor.

Is the 4070 Ti Super worth the extra cost compared to a 4070 super?

I would prefer a smaller card, 25-27cm long, so I won't have to remove the HDD cage in the Define R5 case. Yeah, I could just get a bigger HDD and use the smaller HDD cage on the bottom, but it's a hassle.

I have looked at:

Gigabyte 4070 Ti Super Windforce and Eagle. They have three fans and are 26cm long. Is the Eagle model worth $50 extra? It's just a tiny bit more overclocked. I don't want to use the sag bracket, because its too long to fit without removing the HDD cage.

Then there's the ASUS Dual 4070 Super. It has two fans (bigger) and is 27cm long.

MSI Ventus 2x 4070 Ti Super has two big fans and is 24cm long. But I heard MSI GPUs have some kind of problems?

Any advice, tips or thoughts? 😀

Personally, I would either get the 4070 or 4070 TI. I wouldn't go any higher, and no there no point IMO to do a 4070 Super, because at that point might as well get TI. A few researches compared the 4070 series side by side and much to say, many of them were not happy of the results to the cost of performance. I would choose the 4070 and save that extra money on a better CPU, Storage, cooling and so on. My brother is on the same page you are, long story short he's going to end up getting the 4070 and saving the rest for 'looks' and he wants a 990 PRO 2T SSD. I would have done the same. This is just my 2 cents, on the topic and there is no need to take is serious. the TI model does give a nice boost in FPS and RT, but that's if you want to pay the extra for it. :)

EDIT: OR since the Super TI is close to the range of a TI, you could do that and call it a day if you have some money to burn, but also then take what you are spending and could also go a series up to the 4080 (Yet still very expensive from the Super-TI) . ALL DEPENDS what is within your budget, what you are comfortable and happy with. No one likes Buyer's remorse. Or perhaps a 7900XTX while being cheaper and fights against 4080 and 4070 Super-TI. Whatever you choose I'm sure you will be happy with the upgrade!
I'd speak more but there is much room and opinions left for others to bring here
