Cyberpunk, full RT: 71 core, 86 hotspot (delta 15)
Avatar, full blast: 77 core, 95 hotspot (delta 18)

In both cases the indicated load is 100%, but some games make the card run hotter than others, even than synthetic benches.
I've plotted delta over full load runs, and it stays within 15-18 degrees.

At no point does the thermal limit sign go off, and except for louder fans (80%) at 77, performance is okay.

Is this still within reason? I'm a bit of a klutz and I don't want to open my card. I've read about pump-out and cheap paste.
Need some reassurance that this is within spec.

hot spots are a bit of a issue it can effect performance overall only way to counter it is open it up and repaste.

other options depend on case what is your case ?.

replacing the paste with a better one i saw a drop of like 10c over all loads.

and a decent performance bump due to able to hit higher clocks.

My case is a Fractal Design Define 7 XL.

It has a closed front, but I've loaded it with 3 noctua fans.

Even with all panels open, the temperature only drops 2-3 degrees.

if im correct theres room for 4 fans in the top

4 x 120 mm if you put 4 fans at the top as exaust youll see a good drop in temps

set them as exaust. apart from one closest to power button should be set as intake

there should be room on the bottom for 2 140mm fans i would set these to pulling air from the bottom and pushing the air towards the top of the case

if your tight on room look for thin 140mm fans. and use some rubber washers to leave a small space between case metal and fan this is to prevent fan blades bouncing against metal. some fans may come with these.

suggestions for bottom can be used in the top as well can have 3 of these in top instead of 4 120mm
