I just bought my pc parts today. I bought an Acer 22" LCD screen monitor, with a resolution of 1920x1080p and a graphics card (asus geforce gtx 750 silent cool) that has a resolution of 4096x2160p. Would it be possible for my monitor to fit the resolution of the graphics card by scaling it in settings?

It'll automatically adjust to the correct resolution, or at least a resolution that is supported. From there (usually after you install the graphics card drivers), you can select your preferred (max) resolution of 1920x1080p.
