You mean "gives you a chance to tool your army to beating that specific
race"... don't care much for that type of play.

No one asked what you thought, bucky.

My, someone had an extra bowl of Prick Flakes today, didn't they? :p

By posting out in the public forum he *DID* ask what I thought.

Responding with *MORE* whining when someone points out that your
whining isn't one of the main chapters of "How to Win Friends and
Influence People" in case that escaped your notice.

Now that just makes me think that not only is grammar going down the
tubes on RGMW, but literacy in general is apparently optional. The
original poster most definitely did *NOT* ask for your opinion on
whether you liked his style of gaming. Don't like it? Good for you -
don't game with him. He asked about how to create a 'specific purpose'
army. Don't want to help - great. But acting as if Craig was the first
person to behave like a twat in this threat is making me think 'Clue
Impaired' should be included on your resumee.

Yeah, and I called you on it.

About his list, not about his chosen gaming groups style du jour.

That's a heck of an Ork-killing force, but... who's leading them? I
see no characters. And the lack of models could be bad if you get
swamped quickly (think Battlewagon and/or Trukks).

I have a master leading, to be joined by the assault squad.

If you mention Deep Striking them, I'm going to have to laugh
maniacally while pointing at your puny army.
-Erik
(It's an Ork thing.)

Actually the assault squad has its jump packs stripped, no need to get
close that quickly.

Looking at the list, I really don't see a whole lot I would change. The
Scouts are a solid choice as the won't have the Choppa reducing their
saves and the bolters will wreak absolute havoc for a turn or two.

I might change the Multi-Melta on the one Land Speeder to a Heavy Bolter
or perhaps Hvy Flamer. Doubt there is much you will come up against in
an Ork army that the Assault Cannons can't handle.

Also one other minor niggle... why the Assault squad? Just to have a
fast choice? They won't be as deadly in H2H as Bolters would be... might
consider taking a regular Tac squad w/flamer or possibly Hvy Bolter.

I like the 3 Whirlies... smacks of Overkill. :)

I have actually re-tooled it slightly, dropped the assault squad,
dropped some scouts for some tacticals and lost 3 models in the process
but I figure the 3+ will help when being shot at by the sluggas before
being charged.

Dropped the adamantium mantle and other goodies on the master in favor
of taking a command squad that she would have attached, does the same
thing and adds more firepower.

Dropped the dozer blades and armor on the whirlwinds b/c they are going
to be hidden away anyway.

Kept the multi melta b/c it is nice to have something that you know will
take out a battlewagon.

In a word, f***ing rude.

Mind you, I usually take two - but that's regardless of who I play.

Itchy triger finger today - I should point out that I always run a
tournament style army list, designed to have what I consider to be a
reasonable chance against all armies.
