Okay, I still haven't fully grasped the Chapter Traits system, but is this a
good viable army for the new V4 environment?

<snip list>

With my immense expertise from a grand total of 3 games with
salamanders I will make the following comments:

* Deep striking 'Fear of darkness' sounds like a very good idea. I was
at the receiving end of that last saturday, and it ran my devastators
off the board. OTOH the librarian and terminator command squad did get
wiped out during my next turn...

* The command squad appear to be geared for close combat. A min-sized
close combat unit won't stay effective for long.

* Thunder hammers are very fluffy for salamanders, but costs twice as
much as power fists for a rather marginal extra effect. Do they all
have to be thunder hammers to satisfy your sense of salamander
fluffyness?

* 5 assault cannons. Nasty.

* There is a major lack of variation in your list. Do all of the
tactical squads have to be identical? Both dual flamer and dual plasma
units can also be highly useful.

* Numbers. No unit is larger than 6 models. This will likely leave you
with few units that qualifies as scoring units at the end of the game.
Especially if you want to get some use out of the 'Never despair'
trait.
