4460 stock cooler?

It depends what you use it for. If you're running heavy loads like high end gaming then I would say yes, get a cooler for it. Also, get a new cooler if you are going to overclock.

It can get pretty loud sometimes. But I think you'll be fine since you probably wont overclock.

Under a heavy load, it may become loud, but the Intel cooler tends to be pretty quiet. I'd go ahead and use it; think about a replacement only if it does indeed become loud enough to be annoying.

Depends, since that chip isnt unlocked you cant overclock it and it will only spin up if you really push the CPU then the cooler can get louder but not by much, but if you mush have a very quiet CPU cooler then get something like 212 Evo and put the fan speed low

btw, OCing a 4460, where is everyone getting this idea. last time I checked it was locked.

anyway. intel stock coolers arent very loud.you'll be fine
