450W power supply enough for this configurations?

Hello,
I'm a total beginner in the PC world, but read many power supply reviews and tries to calculate wattage of my configuration. I decided to ask here, because I'm determined to avoid any unnecessary noise from my power supply, no matter price. The one I have now is an Altek 700W piece. No further model specification available. My choice would be an 450 Corsair or Silverstone SFF power supply.

- Silverstone Milo ML07 case
- Intel Core i7-7700, 3.6Ghz with Intel fan
- 1x 16GB DDR4 RAM
- 256 GB Adata SSD
- aprox. 2 USB 3.0 devices
- Nvidia GTX 730 video card
- normal mouse and keyboard
- 23 inch LCD monitor
- 8 hours usage per day, mostly advanced database and statistics usage, no gaming
- since playing music does not work, I think there's no soundcars installed

I would go with the 600W version if that would not imply more aggressive fan profiles and more noise. From what I have read on Tom's Hardware reviews.

Help is much appreciated, since I have to ship it to Ecuador...

Yes. 450W is enough.

If silence is that important to you, I would go with at least the 600W. Even if you wont do any cpu intensive work. You will be shure it will stay under small load and the fan wont even turn on because it wont get warm enough.
But yes, indeed 450W are enough to power that system.

Thank you all for your answers! So, what I've learned is that 450W is enough, but 600W preferable since more capacity means my workload represents a smaller part of that capacity, therefore fewer situations where fans should kick in.

Even if that is not stated entirely correct, similar 450 vs. 600 questions out there resulted in similar answers as Chegalhavara's.

After deciding myself for the Corsair because of the more silent 92mm fans, I read again the Corsair 600W review and found the following quotes that seem to be at odds with Chegalhavara's answer.

As you can imagine, that translates to more noise. If you want 600W of power from such a compact PSU, then you have to be aware of the trade-offs."

Which makes me wonder again which one of the two Corsair version would be best for my build and considering that noise is high priority. What am I missing?

This will be when loaded to the max which with your build as is will not happen and even with a power sucking gpu won't so noise shouldn't be an issue and probably with none of the above.

450W is more than enough for your use.

A specific model of PSU would be useful; brand name carries no guarantee of quality. If you want silence above all else then look at the Corsair RM series as the fan doesn't spin unless required.

With the case he has he's looking at SFX form factor which the RM series are not.
