450W powering a GTX760 or R9 270X?

Could a 450W psu with 12V1 21A 12V2 18A power a gtx GTX760 or a R9 270X? Sticker on side of my psu: http://gyazo.com/2e9ece41f2d680ddae2c2ab203d20422

Nope. gonna need a much stronger PSU. I recommend at least a corsair tx750. You need at least 30 amps on the 12v rail for the 760.

Hi - If that PSU can deliver it's rated specs, it is enough for a system with either of those cards. It
has barely enough +12v amps (30 total avail, not 39)for the gtx760 & has a little headroom for
an r9 270x. If you're gonna stay with that PSU go with the 270x because of the xtra +12v headroom.

Personally, I would start saving money for a better quality PSU. Lower quality PSU's often don't deliver their rated specs.

You don't need anywhere near a 750w PSU for a single GPU system. if you decide to upgrade in the near future,
a good quality 500-550w unit will provide plenty of power.

is corsair vs450 watt uk version can run this??? sapphire amd/ati radeon hd 7770 1gb ddr5 is my best choise,so my psu can handle it??? i also have fx4300.

Thanks a lot for your help! Also, I have another question. Do you think I could get the MSI R9 270X HAWK edition so that I could overclock it to about 1300MHz or would that be too much for my psu? Would I have to stick to the Gaming Edition?

Hi - It might, but it still boils down to that lower quality PSU being able to deliver it's publ specs., that particular
design (the CWT GPA) uses very low quality caps, and if you've had it for a while, it prob can't supply
the 30 +12v amps it's rated for.

Hi again - If you want decent gaming now, stay with the 270x. your other choice is to upgrade your PSU now &
get a stronger card in the future. If you were able to do that in a couple of months or less, I'd consider it.
Otherwise, go with a 270x now.

With your current PSU I would go for gtx 750Ti.It will give you gtx 480 level performance for only 65 watts so you have a high performance gpu which will run easily on your PSU.No reason to go with either 760 or 270. 750Ti is your savior so to speak.
