460 RX with 3 displays

If I have a 460 RX with a DP, HDMI and DVI ports. And I want to connect 3 monitors using DP, HDMI, and DVI, do I need to use an active display cable? And if I do, would it be the DVI or DP. I have not used a single card for 3 displays on the new line of cards. I know you used to have to use an active cable. TIA.

If your monitors' inputs match those on the card, there's no problem at all and no need for adapters. You need drivers of course and to set Eyefinity in it's controls.

Ok. In previous versions of of Eyefinity you had to use an active adapter. Good to know. Thank you.

I'm using 2 x DVI + DP on my R7 and 3 monitors so Rx should be just fine too.
