Hello, I currently have the Gtx 460 HAWK and would like to upgrade but dont have to much to spend, now I can sell my card and I got a nice offer on a msi N560GTX-M2D1GD5 but it doesnt look like must of an increase, any input would help thanx
Upgrading to a 560 from a 460 would not be worth your money. A better solution would be to get a 2nd 460 (assuming you can find a suitable one for sale) and SLI them. *Make sure your MoBo is SLI capable and your Power Supply has enough capacity.
The 560 and the 460 are basically the same card, the 560runs cooler and has the extra core turned on. The 460 is a 560 with one of the cores disabled to manage power and heat. Getting a second one would be more benificial to you than just upgrading to a 560.
Just run them in SLI. Of course we will need to know your power supply and if your motherboard can Run them in SLI. There is also the case of your cpu giving you a bottle neck. Anyways just wait for the next gen cards or upgrade something else.
