460w can run evga 1060sc?

Can a 460 watt power supply run a evga 1060 sc without having any issues

yes that will run a 1060 with no issues especially as it already was running a 760. although with no brand listed, at some point down the road you might want a more reputable PSU.

at the moment i dont really have the money for a new power supply but in the future i was hoping to upgrade to something like a evga 550w g2 or gs

Most HPs should use HP-branded power supplies, I'd think. And they're usually not bad.

the 550 G2 is a good power supply, as you say, when you have the money go for it.

on the power supply it does say hp so i assume so but i will still upgrade in the future to a better one

Honestly if it were me I wouldn't upgrade the PSU. I wouldn't spend $70 just to swap the power supply for mental satisfaction and possibly some increased lifespan. But that's just me...
