Hi all,
I have recently reinstalled windows after installing a mx200 ssd and adding another ram kit and noticed that my cpu will now not power down to its low idle states anymore. CPUZ shows multiplier radios of (8-38) as expected and I have tried enabling and leaving on auto the EIST and C state options in bios however when in windows the multiplier does not seem to drop below 36x (varies between 36-38x). Has been previously overclocked on old setup to 41x with C states working, but have returned it to stock clocks now.
I have done some searching and couldn't find any other advice other than making sure that the c-states are enabled in bios, just wondering if anyone else had had any experience of something similar happening?
Many thanks.
Setup:
i5 4670k at stock clocks (x34 base, x36-38 turbo)
16GB balistix (4x4gb)
Gigabyte z87x-d3h
mx200 ssd
