Hi there, I'm having an issue with my newly installed i7 4790k. I started overclocking it and I got a stable 4.6ghz on 1.2v and I haven't tried pushing it further yet. The issue I'm having is that during stress testing, core 1-3 will be around 60C, while core 0 will be around 75-80C. I've looked up some similar problems and yes, I have reseated my cooler (h100i gtx), I have checked to see that the cooler is not in contact with any resistors or whatnot, I have replaced my thermal compound and completely wiped both the cpu and heatsink with an alcohol swap before doing so, and yes, I am using multi threaded/multi cored programs so I'm fairly sure it is not just because my usual programs are only using the first core.
