4790k cpu flickering?

Hi, I looked into my case and saw that there was a flickering around my cpu. It doesn't get too hot (around 50-60 after an hour or two of playing rome II/ GTA V) so I'm not too concerned, however, I am curious to know what this is.
For reference...
CPU cooler is cryorig h7
motherboard is gigabyte z97x ud3h Bk

I'm an idiot. It wast just the reflective surface of my heat sink catching a light off my monitor.
