[SOLVED] 4790k cpu in 2019

hello,

i am planning to upgrade from i3-4150 to i7-4790k is it a good idea to upgrade cpu on H97m-d3h Motherboard?

motherboard is almost 3 years old.

It all comes down to your budget.
I currently use a Z97 and i7-4790k and it still works in the games today fine.
I will upgrade it to a Ryzen though in the near future, had enough of Intel making End of Line products every 18 months. AMD has longevity.
