Hey guys I bought my first i7 (Was 8350 and console player before)

I just wanted some advice and reassurance that I have done everything correctly and that my temps/volts are in good standing.

So to Start I had a 8350 with Hyper 212 evo and i dabbled with Overclocking but i think I had a bum chip, it overclocked to 4.4 max and was slightly unstable in Prime (1 core failure after 4 hours) and that was with a slight volt tweak.

Now I have the 4790k and I am cooling it with H212evo again and MX4 paste, now I chat with a few friends and they said I must have a golden chip cos it's a good overclocker, but was told to ask you guys as they use AMD still and are not familiar with intel hardware limits.
So I'll write out my Idle then my prime95 (load) data, I used HWmonitor for my data and am I right in using the VID with intel for voltages?
With my OC I pulled 4600mhz I could go higher maybe with a better cooler and a better PSU but this CPU performs wonderful for my needs.

CPU 34-49C
Fan RPM 473-628 (1450 Corsair SP120s x2)
VID 0.708 - 1.278

Load
CPU 65-68c
Fan RPM 1200-1409
1.278 VID

Any flaws or quips or praise welcome :)

Solution
Well it was a instant shutdown, not just a blackscreen lol, I'll have a little tweak tonight, can I check crash reports on prime95? maybe find the cause, I reckon it's the voltage needs a tweak perhaps

Solution
Oh, an instant shutdown... No restart? That sounds like a potential PSU issue, actually.
I'm not sure if you can check crash reports on Prime, I'll have a look when I wake up in the morning.
It's possible that your voltage is too low, although that usually results in a MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION BSOD.
