Hello,
I have a the following specs:
rog strix z270e
i7-7700k
1080ti x2
optane 900p pcie 480gb SSD (the SSD w/ integrated optane memory)
I have been using the aforementioned PC for over a year without any problems; the optane memory module was functioning, confirmed with intel RST application. I reinstalled windows yesterday and formatted the SSD (the optane SSD is my only drive). After installing the RST drivers, the application says that an intel optane module is detected but no compatible HDD is detected. This makes no sense as the memory is integrated into the SSD; do i need to recreate an optane partition for the drive to be recognized as compatible?(like 32gb?) or should there just be the typical windows partitons for OS, recovery, etc that are created by the windows install. As it stands, I see no optane partition , but i cant recall if it was there to begin with. All of my bios settings are correct as well.
