Question 480gb SATA SSD or 256gb NVMe SSD?

I have a budget that could buy either a 480gb SATA SSD or a 256gb NVMe SSD. The specific products I'm looking at are the Patriot Burst 480gb SSD and 256gb Adata XPG SX6000 Pro SSD M.2 NVMe which cost exactly $50 each in my country. Which do you think should I buy first? I normally just game and would probably program in the future. But I'm also looking at making videos of my gaming sessions.

I'd go with the Sata SSD, easier to replace / upgrade.

But is the performance difference of an nvme to a SATA SSD that much significant to even consider buying the nvme SSD first?
