Well, if you look at price/performance 310 is about 30% more expensive, and the 570 gets you 8-12% better performance depending on the game. So, the better value is the 6950, but it's up to you. Do you need the extra ~10% or would you rather save yourself $70?

Remember asking last night and someone also told me I'd prolly upgrade the 6950 in a year and a half to a single and not just add another one for crossfire...so my question is, for 60 bucks, IS it worth getting a 570?

Here is a good review:

http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-6950-1gb-vs-geforce-gtx-560-ti-review/15

The article is about the 560 TI vs the 6950, but the charts at the bottoms of the page where they show FPS include the 1 and 2 GB editions of the 6950, and the 480 and 570.

The GTX 480 is notoriously hot and loud, so if you are deciding between those two, go for the 570, otherwise, take a look at the benchmarks and decide if it is worth going with the 570 over the 6950.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Man that's pricy! Especially with about 20$ shipping to Puerto Rico :S...

What would you do? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814134125 OR http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gigabyte-Radeon-HD-6950-OC-Ed-1GB-GDDR5-PCIe-/320777195095?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item4aafcf8e57#ht_1729wt_1139

Thanks! I'm probably thinking of going with the 570 since the unlock is not 100% :/ and the diffrence in price is...

310 (with rebate) for 570
240 (with rebate) for 6950

70 dollar diffrence, what would you do?

I don't plan on crossX or SLI.

Its actually more like ~10 fps increase, so yeah, I think I will get the 570, its basically one more day of work at like a best buy or something right? :D

Thanks Blade =)
