So... I DL 3DMark and go on my merry way to test my new system. I'm expecting 3500-4000 points, hoping for maybe 5000. And i get a whooping 424. WTF?
System specs:
ATrend ATC6310-A Motherboard, with the newest 4 in 1 VIA drivers.
Celeron 533 not overclocked
256MB PC-100 Apacer Memory
Creative Annihilator2 AGP (Geforce2 GTS) with Detonator 3 drivers.
10GB 7200 rpm. Maxtor HD.
AOpen 12x DVD-ROM
HP 8100i CD-RW
Windows 95 OSR2 build 1111.

So...what's my problem? What do I do?
PS: I can play any game at 1024x768, and I can sometimes play them in 1600x1200 without much chopiness...

424? Holy [-peep-], that's low! You should be getting at least 10 times that score.

now mine is low low low, and i am assuming its my video card... but..

have you installed the usb/agp drivers suppliment for windows 95??? if not the video card wii run in pci mode and not agp mode making for a very slow system.also in your bios set the video option to agp if you bios has this.

OK, some new info:
I checked my fps while playing Alice. I get better fps in 1600x1200 than I get in 1024x768! In 1600x1200 I'm in the reange of 18-25, and can drop to 4 in a tight fight. Oddly enough, in 1024x768 and in 800x600 it runs around 10-14fps, and drops to 2-3 in tight fights. Any ideas?
And in a related topic: My mobo is capable of running at 100MHz, and I have PC-100 memory, but as soon as I set that speed my PC refuses to boot. Not a beep, nothing. Is the Celeron incapable of working with a bus over 66MHz?
Please let me know... I'm going crazy here o_O
