4850x2 +4870x2 on same board..

Hello..

sorry I have another mobo question.

Does anyone have any suggestion with regards to a mobo for running these 2 gpu's on at all...

4850x2 and the 4870x2 ...

Or is that overkill??

With a Phenom 940 cpu...

it is way overkill for that cpu, if you want that kind of setup, you should start off with an i7 920 for the cpu.

P2 940 =130 (gbp)
Mobo = 100
4870x2 = 240
4850x2= 150

= 620

i7 920 = 230
Mobo = 220
4870x2= 240
4850x2 = 150

= 840

(all in uk pounds)

The reason I don't want to go i7 is it's an extra 220. I know it may be overkill but I just wondered if it was possible?? and would I see a huge difference from just having 1 card (ahem I mean 1 x 2 !!!)
