4870 need for speed shift problemo

hey guys, i have just recently purchased a game need for speed shift and for some reson when playing on very high settings you can possibly get on the game without and anti-alising and anistroping filtering, it lags for some reason on my system, which i think is kinda wierd as it passes the recommended settings, anyway here is my specs CPU: intel core2quard q9300 (not overclocked)2.5ghz GPU: hd4870 512mb (not overclocked)and ati driver 9.9 Ram: 4gb Operating system: vista ultimate 64bit

What resolution are you running at? I've noticed Shift to be a pretty resource intensive game.

Yeh..... thanx for that...... i also did my own little research and i found out that it was mainly the ati cards that had the lag issue, so thanx for the heads up

Ati is going to release a hotfix in order to resolve the fps issue with this game.
