Hey everyone, just wondering if this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Akasa-AK-VC03-BLUV-Vortexx-NEO-VGA-Cooler-UV-Reactive_W0QQitemZ300314870786QQcmdZViewItemQQptZComputing_ComputerComponents_Fans_Heatsinks_SR?hash=item45ec294402&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 is a decent enough aftermarket cooler to warrant buying for a xfx 4890. As far as i can tell xfx still offer warranty even with after market coolers (love xfx warranty :) ) im looking to overclock once i get a new cpu, as im not sure there is a point in overclocking now as i have been told my phenom 9750 severly bottlenecks my system even though im running everything at 1680x1050. How much bottleneck would i be getting?

well, if you can OC that phenom a lot (which they are not known for)

keep OC'ing until you don't get an fps increase near the same % as cpu OC to alleviate any bottleneck associated with your cpu (yes the cpu will bottleneck the gpu0

is this going to bottleneck my gpu so much tho, that it performs worse than an 8800gtx? cuz im getting lower overall marks on 3d mark 06, do you know what system toms hardware tested their cards on? because surely i should score higher with a much better card? i fail to believe that my cpu bottlenecks the system so much that im losing around 7000 marks of performance
