4890 or 4870

I am debating getting a 4870 or a 4890. I have a Samsung 22" 1680x1050.

I'm thinking I probably don't need the 4890 but I'm not sure. I just want some opinions.

System specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 (2.6GHz)
4GB Corsair DDR2-800
Radeon HD 4830
PC P&C 500W PSU (35 amps on 12V rail)
Some rubbish MSI mobo (no overclocking options)
Windows XP (32 bit)

It really depends on the price difference between both cards you are interested in. I think anything less than $50 is worth the upgrade.

$45 difference. $194.99 vs. $149.99. Both with free shipping. I'm leaning towards the 4890 now because I think I am going to get a GIGABYTE 790GX and a Phenom II 940BE since Newegg has a combo for only $260.
