Hi all and thanks in advance
I have a LC Power Fonte 500W LC500H-12

DC OUTPUT +3.3V (20A)
+5V (22A)
+12V1 (15A)
+12V2 (15A) -12v (0.8A)
-5V (0.5A)
+5VSB(3.0A)

Skt am3 dual core 240,OC to 3,5ghz
Asus 785g EVO version
2xhdd sata,
1x120mm fan,Onboard grphics.

I just BOught a 4890,i will be changing PSU soon. But i would like to test the 4890 if its fully working, since it´s used..

Any risks if i only plan to use it in Idle mode? What about gaming/Full load.

I have gone to
http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

Less then 300W in teh test, still im like....Relutante:(

Solution
A 4890 only needs about 5 amps for a 2D desktop load and about 12 amps for a 3D, gaming load.

On the other hand, you have a less than stellar PSU. You should be OK for a desktop load, but a gaming load may cause problems

It´s says 350w output in the 12v rail:D
I´ll be using and adpter, hopefully de 12v1 rail will suply the Card with 6xpin integrated in the PSU, and the 12v2 rail will be suporting the Card from the adapter or it doesnt work like that?xP

i dont know whats a Stellar, but LC, is about the same as a NOX Urano.
I will be getting a Corsair 650w or a Antec 750w

Stellar=OEM PSU?? LC much better

HI again e got my 4890 to wotk with the 12v1 15a and 12v2 15a PSU:) desktop till i change for a better PSU,seams great so far soo good

NO OC,in any components:)
Still 1 doubt like the 12v1 15a goes to Graphics right?
ANd the 12v2 15a goes for CPU correct? if so i should be fine even in OC to 3,3ghz

350w Output in 12v,with means 175w each, since PSU has aroun 70to75% eficience, that means roughly 150W:( isnt enough for gameplay:(
