Hi all,
I just received an old workstation with Xeon processor and 48GB of RAM. I am planning to build a gaming machine by buying a fast graphic card.
The question is whether to keep all the RAM or remove some and keep just 16GB? I read that even the most demanding games will only benefit from 16GB of RAM.

We need to know the model of the Xeon. It may be a triple channel memory controller CPU. 24 or 48GB may be optimal for performance. It might even have two CPU sockets and both CPUs need memory.
