4930k vs 4820k vs 4770k for future-proofing

I have a simple question. What cpu is better for future-proofing and longterm reliability. 4770k 4820k 4930k. I am on a tight budget but can stretch to the 4930k. I would like the computer to run new games at high settings for at least 2 years. The Gfx card will be upgraded all the time. I just need a future proof CPU. Thank you guys!

All CPU's would allow you to play all games on ultra in 2-3 years, because all are overkill now!
I'd recommend you to get better GPU! your GPU will be outdated faster than CPU!
BTW all sockets will be outdated by this year if i'm not mistaken and performance gain in games you won't notice between 4770k and 4930k

if you only want i7 cpus, go for the i7 4770k. Otherwise, i think it is a waste of money, especially when you are on a tight budget.
For a "cheapo" i7, you might want to look into xeon e3 1230 v3.

Simple: 4930k > 4770k > 4820k

I myself would have gone with the i7 4770k.

If you don't want to overclock 1230 v3 is a great value, giving a bit more money to invest in better GPU, since you don't need as expensive of a motherboard either. If your budget is kinda tight, I would suggest going this route.

Z87 supports 8x 8x sli, or 4x 4x 4x 4x
X79 supports 16x 16x 16x 16x

If you plan on stacking in more and more cards x79 will give you an advantage, or if you are going to be running network cards etc I would go with x79

Only one X79 board has X16X16X16X16 support which is ASRock X79 Extreme11, X79 chipset has 40 PCI-E lanes (X16X16X8) but remember that X79 chipset doesn't support USB 3.0 natively!!! Its pretty old!

Edit: X8X8 configuration is more than enough for two way SLI but if OP wants four way SLI with X8X8X8X8 he can also look for Maximus VI Extreme
