4960x with Sabertooth X79, good combo? Need someone elses opinion!

I found a pretty good deal for 4960x with Asus Sabertooth X79 and Corsair Vengeance 16Gb 1866Mhz and I thought about buying it, but before I do that I would like to hear your opinion about this combo, because I found worryingly little info about this motherboard/CPU combination. Are they fully compatible? Should I know anything else besides the BIOS update? What are your experiences?

I have a 4930k(the younger brother to the 4960x) on an x79 sabertooth and it works beautifully. That combo is getting a little long in the tooth(ha), but if it's a good deal, you might think about it.
