If you're expecting to keep the same GPU for a while then getting a 4GB card may be wise. Current generation games don't quite need 2GB yet, but in the near future it may change. It just really depends on how you want to use your GPU.
I hear the same argument every few generations when the VRAM amount starts going up, but not once outside of a dual card setup at high resolutions have I ever been limited by VRAM since by the time my card is limited by vram it is not powerful enough to play at settings with good fps that use up the vram anyway. (that may be slightly different for people who bought top of the line cards) At 1080p I highly doubt 2gb is going to become a serious bottleneck anytime soon for single cards. With that said a 770 4gb would make more sense than a 760 4gb. That's my opinion and if the price difference for 4gb over 2gb is small why not right?
