The question is, if I have 4gb memory in my motherboard, and the boards support the 8gb stick,
can i put it in next to the 4gb stick, or is it going to conflict?
Or should i go with 2x4gb? Im planning to do graphics desing on it.

Thanks for the answers, and sorry for my bad english btw.

Well I do not recommend to mix ram, it should work but it can be problematic, as ram in kits is sold for a reason
anyways If you want more ram just buy the same memory module as you already have and then you are 100% guaranteed that it will work.
If your memory is operating in dual channel than it wont work since in dual channel architecture each channel has to match in size
If your memory is operating in single channel than it should work.

Not exatcly!
It supports 16gb (2x8).
Now i have a 4gb stick in it, and i have the possibility to get a 8gb stick.
So if i put the 8gb next to the 4gb in the same board, is there going to be any problem, or it will run just fine?
