4gb ddr3 g.skill 1600mhz (8-8-8-24) vs 8gb ddr3 team elite (9-9-9-24)

Which is the best ram to go for ? i no not mutlitask alot. Only for some gaming.

And whats the difference between these timings and frequency ?

Can some one explain ? Thanks

You should look at how much RAM you use already, if you don't have troubles with using 4 GB, then save some money and go with the 4 GB kit. Timing isn't that important in your situation.

G.Skill latency is better so it is better, but you did not mention the frequency of the other kit.

Also, you did not see any 8GB G.Skill memory kits? Double the capacity is nice in case you multi-task or need more RAM in the future.

The other RAM is 1333 mhz.

The G.Skill DDR3-1600 8-8-8-24 is much better for gaming. The frequency is higher and the timings are lower (quicker), so it is clear which one is ideal.

Atm im with the g.skill 4gb ddr3 1600mhz 8-8-8-24. I only play a bit there and there. Tom clancy , crysis , mafia2 , and modern games. I never had problems.

Yeah if you aren't having any problems I wouldn't recommend changing it out.
