I'm comparing pre-built computers and trying to decide which build is better: 4GB of GT640? or 2GB of GTX645?

Your thoughts?

Solution
Whether it's 4 or 2GB doesn't matter, neither card is going to benefit from having more than 2GB memory anyway.

However, it does matter whether it's GDDR5 or DDR3. GDDR5 is much faster. The 4GB memory on the GT 640 is probably DDR3, while the 2GB memory on the GTX 645 is probably GDDR5, which would make that card significantly faster.
Save your money and get the 2gb GTX645. 4gb on a gt640 is not going to be worth your while as that amount of ram would be necessary on a 3 monitor setup or ulta hd dual monitor setup and when you are spending that type of money you'll be looking at much stronger gpus.

Also, send me a link of what you're comparing, perhaps I can configure something better for you in the same price range. If you plan on gaming I recommend at least a 650 or even a gtx 560 ti but let me know your budget and the website you're using and a link of what you are thinking of buying.
