4gb ram 1333mhz or 7gb ram 666mhz

I just bought a 4GB RAM 1333mhz. Question is: 4gb ram 1333mhz or 7gb ram 666mhz? What is better? For gaming what is better?I have 2.13 Mhz processor, Amd hd5450 2gb, windows 7 64bit

Leaving the capacity out of it, you will be benefited with more speed i.e 1333MHz. Is 666MHz effective frequency or rated frequency?

I don't understand that last sentence. But anyway, i read that is not good to mix RAM's with different speed.Is it true?

Not exactly. In case two rams of different speeds are used. Both rams will operate at the lowest speed of both. For example: One ram is 1333MHz while the other RAM is 1866MHz. When used together, both rams will operate at 1333MHz.

this is hard to answer without knowing the ram specs , the 1333mhz ram may have high latency timings and the 666mhz ram may have low latency timings making it faster or visa versa , speed of ram is not all to consider here,

what is your ram specs on both sets ?

mixing different speed memory with different timings can be very problematic , sometimes it will work as easylover suggests but i have seen it all too often here where that is not the case

My point was only about the speed leaving the timings are out of it. It is not the speed but the timings which give problem with multiple sticks.
