Hi I have the DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE, 4G, 1600, 1RX8, 4G, DDR3, NU

what can i upgrade too as i find the machine just far too slow

That system has 2 RAM slots in it and can take up to 2x8GB DIMMs for 16GB total capacity.
