4Gig Works Great

I just upgraded to 4GB Ram. Just added 2 of the same chips I already had. I am currently running XP Pro and it shows 3.67GB Total in Task Manager and 3.5GB in Computer Properties. BIOS shows 4096 and so does CPU-Z. Thats more than I thought I would get on XP Pro 32bit. Will upgrade to Vista 64bit soon. I have noticed\felt better performance in Unreal Tournament 3. I got 2*1GB Patriot PC2-6400 kit at Frys for $59.00. Very Fast!!

I found that on Intel chipset, 4 gigs will be 3.5 gigs in 32-bit os whereas on nVidia chipset, 4 gigs will be 3 gigs in 32-bit os. Sucks to be my buddy who has the 680i. (3 gigs for my build as well)
