Hello all,

I am using an LG OLED55BXPUA 55 inch BX 4K Smart OLED TV as my display, connected directly to my 2080 TI in my PC using an HDMI 2.1 cable. My native resolution is 3840x2160, currently at 60Hz with HDR enabled.
However, when I change it to 120Hz with the same resolution, HDR automatically is disabled and Windows 10 will not let me re-enable it. When I try, the display flickers and the HDR option remains disabled. Is HDR not compatible with 4K 120Hz? I'm 99% sure it is. My Windows 10, TV firmware and display drivers are all up-to-date. I had already tried reconnecting the cable, restarting the PC and the TV.

Anyone know a fix for this?
Thank you in advance.

Solution
The RTX 20 series only have HDMI 2.0b and as far as I know, there's no firmware update to update it. Because of this, they don't even have enough bandwidth to support uncompressed 4K 120Hz.

So basically, you can't do 4K 120Hz HDR. You'd have to get an RTX 30 card.
