Hi all

I just bought (Samsung TV 8K "65Q900RB") and had the following:

https://ibb.co/bbNQQKW

What I have:
High-end PC with RTX 2080TI - HDMI 2.1 Cable connected to Port 4 in One Connect Box

What is my settings in TV:
Port 4 has Input Signal Plus ON with HDMI 2.1 Cable - Game Mode ON - FreeSync (Ultimate).

What is my settings in PC:
Same as the above picture.

Also regarding the 8K, I only get 30hz

NOW, this all good and fancy before I go to sleep and when I woke up and turned my PC on... I found this ..

*TV menu and smart HUB all working and fine only PC source

My questions that I would like to have answers:

what is this? - how to fix it? - how to prevent it?

Thank you

It looks like the card doesn't physically support HDMI 2.1. It stops at HDMI 2.0b. So that's probably why the screen went screwy in the 2nd pic.

"4k 12-bit HDR at 144Hz or 8k 12-bit HDR at 60Hz over one DisplayPort 1.4 connector (with DSC)."

A weird thing just happened now, is that I unplugged all the "One Connect Box" cables and replugged them ... and you know what?? ... screen is back ON and everything is fine like nothing happened ..... am going to: (remove HDMI 2.1 and replace it with my old HDMI 2.0 to check if I can still get the 4k@120hz) if yes that would great, if not, I will reduce the 120hz to 119hz (it is in the model list of adaptor display, maybe it will make a difference)
