4k 30 fps console

I have always played on pc and on it 30 fps is bad. Is that the same case if i play at 4k 30fps in consoles. Since there is not consumer level 4k 60fps capture card 30 fos gameplay is the max i can record or stream. I wont be recording/streaming fps games. I will be streaming only console exclusive games. So is 4k 30 fps on console worth it over 1080p 60? Thank you

The 4k on consoles is fake 4k anyways higher fps is always a nice thing. I would say go 1080 60.

The 4k on consoles is fake 4k anyways higher fps is always a nice thing. I would say go 1080 60.

but future consoles may have good 4k

As stated, it is upconverted 4k. The processing ability of the consoles in no way can REALLY do 4k@60hz. You will have upgraded at least once if not twice by that time.

Thus recording at 1080p @ 60 and allowing the TV to upconvert to 4k is at best the same if not better then the fake 4k of the console.

The Xbox Scorpio will do native 4k but don't expect it higher than 30fps. For fast paced games you would want 1080p@60. For something like witcher 3 I'm sure 4k@30 looks beautiful. Will the Scorpio hit 4k@30 with witcher 3? (Assuming they release a game patch) we'll see
