I just picked up a AMD 390 as a temporary card, and was kinda shocked to find out it doesn't have hdmi 2.0. I was previously running a 980 ti and could plug it straight into my 4k tv and run 60hz no problem. But with AMD this is a problem, I know their are display port adapters for this, but that is being used for my 21:9 monitor.

So my question is, is there anyway to use a DVI connection and convert it to a hdmi 2.0 input and run at 60hz at 4k? Or am I just going to have to constantly swap the display port cables?

Thanks for the reply, I kinda thought that was the answer, I was also reading that 2 dvi cables are capable of doing it, is this true, and if so what am I looking at as far as a device that will take 2 dvi connections and convert them to a hdmi 2.0. This is what I found.

A single dual-link DVI connection can deliver up to 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz. Achieving 4K at 60Hz requires two dual-link DVI cables, or DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0.
