4K 60hz G-Sync OR 1440p 144hz G-Sync?

Basically what is in the title. Also, would I need a GTX 970 or 980? Would I need SLI?

Go with the 1440p 144hz I have the ROG and it looks amazingly smooth and I would take the smoothness over 4k any day.

1440p is quite a bit clearer than my old 1080p monitor and all you need GPU wise would probably be a GTX 970 or a GTX 980 no need for sli.
