[SOLVED] 4K 60Hz Monitor(LG 24UD58) Fressync vs Any 1080p 144Hz Gsync Gaming Monitor!

I have an GTX 1070Ti, which monitor should i buy for best gaming experience,
I occasionally play e sports like DOTA 2 and CS GO but mostly spend time on casual games.

The price is very much similar so kindly suggest which monitor should i go with.

1070 TI is not enought for 4k gaming. You need at least 1080 ti (you must lower lots of quality settings) even 1080 ti SLI (for everything at max). 1440p will be best suited for your videocard.

The availability and pricing of QHD monitors in India is very rare and costly when compared to UHD and FHD monitors,
The monitor specified above 4K UHD 60Hz is priced @ 23,000 INR ($320) and the rest of FHD gaming ones are less than 20,000 INR ($280) based on features and screen size.

Additional question :What about playing @2K in a 4K display, i will be well above 60fps and with freesync will it be good?

Yes, it is ok, some monitors have blur when you run them lowered then the recomended resolution but a good monitor should be ok. For example PUBG doesnt work in SLI and i have to play it at 2k on my 4k display and i cannot see any blur or anything wrong but some monitors have such problems.

My only concern is that the price is absolutely rubbish getting a 1080p 144Hz TN panel is more or less equal to getting a 4k 60hz IPS panel and there are no 2K displays between these two price points in my region.

The LG 24UD58 also now supports Gsync after the latest driver update from nvidia and it is 24 inches IPS panel so i don't think gaming in 2K would be bad on this display while rest of the work will be good, so i think it would be the best option to go.

1440p would be better for you. 1070ti can't reach 60hz 4K gaming, you need at least a 1080 and you have to tone down the settings to hit 60hz even so. That's a job for the 1080ti, but you should go with 1440p 144hz. You can always tone it down to 1080p.
