Question 4K 60hz or 1440p 144hz? (for gaming)

I know that 1440p 144hz is generally the best gaming resolution, but I feel like 4K 60hz might be better in my case. I’m most likely going to buy the rtx 2080 super, and I’m confident that it can run a fair majority of games at 4K with above 60 FPS. With that in mind, hardware restrictions won’t be an issue. The main thing that I care about is which display looks better for games. Is the resolution drop worth the higher FPS?

Depends on the games you play. For competitive FPS, racing style games then the 144hz is better but for less competitive FPS, single player, MMO's then I'd get the higher resolution.

You won’t notice the difference between 1440p and 2160p (4K) in normal gaming. The higher refresh rate will help you gaming experience overall...
