4k @ 60hz vs Ultra wide 1440p @ 100hz

Hi all, trying to decide what screen will be best to replace my current 27" 1080p 60hz screen. I recently upgraded to the 1080ti so making this jump would be easy. Im looking for opinions on which is better for gaming, and for day to day use. I don't play much in the way of fps games.

Games I play...
- GTA V
- Witcher 3
- War Thunder
- Rust
- Ark survival

I guess that gives you a good enough idea of what I like to play.

Also screen suggestions would be great! My current front runner in the Acer predator 35x curved display. That also happens to be my price limit. Also ok in Australia.

I would personally go for 1440p 100Hz. Once you feel that fps in any game, you just can't go back and 4k rez seems irrelevant.
