4K and 1080p dual monitor problem

I wanted to play League of Legends, but it only supports 1080p so I went with it in 1080p-fullscreen. When I do this my second monitor's desktop gets HUGE symbols and when I had a video playing in fullscreeen (for example Youtube) it goes on the first monitor or disappears. When I alt+tab out of it, the video opens up again. When the video isn't in fullscreen it stays like that. How can I fix this?

This happens in all games when ran in full screen mode - full screen mode causes all other windows to lose focus.

The fix? Run you games in Fixed Window mode.
