Hey there i plan on getting a 3080 when ever it gets back in stock. I currently have a 1080p 144hz monitor and my 2nd is a 1080p 60hz. I was wondering if i changed my 60hz one to a 4k/1440p at 60hz monitor for single player games and kepy my 1080 for the 144hz would it be fine?

Solution
ya i understand that i just wanted to make sure i can run my solo games on my 4k and fps games on my 144hz.
Oh yeah. I do it all the time on my 1080 Ti.

I have a 1440p144hz and 1080p144hz -- both are running 24/7 on those settings. NO PERFORMANCE DROP. I play single player games on my 1440p144 for the visuals and 1080p144 for competetive shooters.

The only thing is it's not going to idle. Mine boost clocks at 1500 to 1600MHz on idle running both in 144hz at the same time. But most people are running their nvidia cards on high performance 24/7 anyway which means boost clock up to 1800 to 2000+MHz all the time.

Happy gaming!
