[SOLVED] 4k for PS5 and PC?

Hi:

I was decided to buy a 2k monitor 27" for the new PS5 and for my PC Gaming, but recently Sony has said that games in PS5 will run in 4k, not in 2k

Will be a 2k monitor still good to buy?
Or better I would buy a 4k monitor?

Since sony said the ps5 won't run at 1440p (2k is not 1440p btw)
you would either need to play at the bad scaling of 1080p on 1440p monitors, or the bad upscaling of 4k on 1440p monitors.

For the pc 1440p is actually the sweetspot in my opinion.
If you use the ps5 more, you might benefit from 4k, if you use the pc more, you will probably benefit from 1440p more.

I will play more (80-20) on the PS5, so I think I will go for a 4k

Any recomendation under 800?
