Hi, I'm looking at getting at 32 inch 4k monitor. I'm a software developer and really like the real estate 4k offers for work but I also enjoy casual gaming. I have 2x GTX 980 TIs and a I7-6700K. I'm looking at getting the new Acer XB321HK monitor. It looks like it would fit my needs but many reviews say it's not great for gaming. For a casual gamer will playing at 60hz with G-Sync still provide a pleasant experience even thought it's not a high refresh rate? I been playing mainly the new Tomb Raider and Watch Dogs. Thanks.

It'll help keep things smooth when fps dips down to 45 or so, it will feel closer to 60 than fixed refresh rate monitors that have judder with v-sync on and tearing with v-sync off.

High hz + G-sync is a great combo, I prefer getting 70-80fps or more as it's just so smooth, would you consider one of the ultra-wides @ 100hz? It's only 30% harder than 2k so you can really enjoy the high fps/hz and plenty of real-estate.

Thanks for your reply. I would consider an ultra-wide but I really do care for curve screens. I can't find a flat ultra wide monitor with g-sync that's at least over 30 inches. If you know of one please let me know. Thanks.
