4k gaming and scaling

Seems quite a few games have menu/interface scaling issues with 4k monitors. Is there anyway to fix this? any work around? Or do we basically have to wait for developers to fix this problem?

The only ways I can see is to go into the game file (You'll have to Google the game's UI interface for that, but for some games it may consider a violation for the game) and change it there, so pretty much mess with the game, I suppose you can also use repair from Steam/Origin to fix it if it doesn't work. Or you can get Windows 8.1 and it "should" fix them, I don't have 8.1 but I heard that it helps with the scaling at 4k. Other than that, I'm not sure what else you can do.

Looking at the .exe file, I have found that "Disable DPI Scaling" under "combatability" sometimes helps.
