Hello fellow members, I need your expertise on my up coming build to play video games at 4K on max setting.

After searching around the web these are the parts that I am interested in for my new build. I will most likely purchase all or most of these parts from newegg.com

Monitor: Acer Predator X34 Curved IPS NVIDIA G-sync Gaming Monitor 21:9 WQHD Display with Built-in Overclocking 100Hz Refresh Rate Boost - 1299.99

Case: Corsair Graphite Series Beast 780t Blk - CC-9011063-WW - 258.42

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530 - 329.99

Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME LGA 1151 Intel Z170 Intel USB 3.1 USB 3.0 U.2 Extended ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard - 359.99

Ram: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Memory (Desktop Memory) Model CMD32GX4M4C3200C16-ROG - 349.99

GPU 1: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX OC Edition - 719.99
GPU 2: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX OC Edition - 719.99

SATA SSD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 1TB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E1T0B/AM - 306.07

Is it necessary to have a second Sata drive to store just my game files and have the first one as my OS. If so what size would be good for OS.

Power Supply:

CORSAIR RMx Series RM850X 850W 80 PLUS GOLD Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V SLI and Crossfire Ready Power Supply - 126.99

or

CORSAIR RMx Series RM1000X 1000W 80 PLUS GOLD Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply SLI and Crossfire Ready - 159.99

Need help for power supply selection.

I decided on these components because I plan to overclock the CPU and GPU

I am new to water cooling. I decided that I would go with EKWB components

CPU/Motherboard waterblock: EK-FB ASUS M8E Monoblock - Nickel - 139.99

GPU 1 and 2:
EK-FC1080 GTX Strix - Nickel x2 - 299.98
EK-FC1080 GTX Strix Backplate - Nickel x2 -104.98
EK-FC Terminal DUAL Serial - Plexi - 31.99

Radiator: EK-CoolStream XE 360 (Triple) - 100

Will the temperature of the CPU and both GPU be reduced if I have separate radiator for the CPU and the 2 GPU while over clocking?

Fan: Thermaltake Riing 12 Series High Static Pressure 120mm Circular Red LED Ring Case/Radiator Fan CL-F038-PL12RE-A - 15.66 each (x3 for 1 radiator or x6 for two radiator)

Ram water block:
EK-RAM Monarch Module - Nickel (2pcs) - 69.98
K-RAM Monarch X4 - Acetal+Nickel - 103.98
Is it necessary to water cool my rams when overclocking?

Tube selection: Rigid

EK-HD Tube 12/16mm 500mm (2 pcs) - 11.99 (maybe getting 4)

Fitting:
EK-HDC Fitting 16mm G1/4 - black x12 - 107.88
EK-AF Ball Valve (10mm) G1/4 - Black - 19.99
EK-AF Y-Splitter Rotary 2F-1M G1/4 - Black - 9.99

Still lost when it comes to fitting. Any recommendation on how many 45, 2x45 and 90 degree to purchase for a single or double radiator setup? Also extension connection.

Koolant: need help deciding what coolant would be less maintenance

Accessory:

EK-ATX Bridging Plug (24 pin) - 2.49

From FrozenCPU.com

16mm Silicone Fiberglass Sleeving - White - 2.25

From home depot:

104 Tubing Cutter - 15.73
1/8 in. x 1-5/8 in. Internal/External Deburring Tool for Copper and Plastic - 16.00

I understand that this build will cost me over over 5k but I would like to invest on something that would allow my to play current and future games at max setting on 4k at 60 fps or highter. However, I am open for recommendation that would help me lower my overall cost.

Thank you

EKWB may be a bit more expensive but they definitely know what they're doing. I definitely plan to turn my rig into a water cooled system once I SLI my 1080 and I'm looking at getting EKWB water blocks and radiators, but that probably won't be until next year.

I would definitely upgrade the Power Supply. A good power supply is important for stable overclocks. Also, make sure all your watercooling components use the same interface material inside the loop. You don't want to mix copper insides with say aluminium, or tin. You WILL get galvanic corrosion. What type of tubing are you going to use? Soft, or hardline PETG tubing?

That actually is one of the best PSUs on the market currently. There's no real reason to change it. If I were going to change something you could go cheaper on the monitor. Acer Predators are *WAY* over priced.

I plan to use hard tubing for my water cooling system. I still in a pickle of what water cooling brand to go with.

EKWB water block for sure.

Which of these two do other prefer? EKWB or alphacool when it comes to radiator, pump/resovior, hard tube, and fitting

Yeah, the monitor is expensive but I am going wait a little bit before getting the monitor. It might be my last purchase once I get my computer running. Thanks for the advice that.

Is FrozenCPU back up and running again? I've been using Aquacomputer Airplex Modularity rads for a couple years now. I use PETG hardline tubing with whatever connectors I or my customers like the looks of.
Of the 2 rads you mentioned, I'd go with the Alphacool. But like I said, make sure your components inside the rads, and heatsinks are the same.
