4K Gaming & Video Rendering PC Parts Help

I want to build a high end PC for 4k gaming and video editing and rendering. To handle the 4k games, I want to use a MSI GTX 980ti. But I have one issue I need help with. I want to record my gameplay (preferably in full resolution) in the background. Would I need another GPU, or a CPU faster than an AMD fx-9590 for this to be possible an not lag? I am not worried about the frame rate that much, as long as I am getting 20-30 frames per second I am fine with it.

If you want consistency with around 50 fps while recording, you'll need no less than 2 980 ti's in SLI for 4k gaming. If you're splashing out that much cash, might at well go with an I7-4790K or Skylake CPU with it.

Probably want to go with a faster processor and maybe a second card if you want to record no lag at 4k.
